The Season Of The Witch – Movie Trailer

witch

The plot of The Season Of The Witch is straight from the Old wives tale that we have all heard of regarding witches. The movie is set in the 14th Century, Knights take an accused witch to a monastery, where monks will determine that her powers are the cause of the Black Plague. The Season Of The Witch features Nicholas Cage, Ron Perlman and Claire Foy – A very good cast for what I hope will be a good movie

Firstly, the pun was intended! Iconic guitarist and rock legend Slash from both Guns N’ Roses and Velvet Revolver has joined forces with Scout Productions to create Slasher Films. They will produce edgy contemporary horror fare with a nod to the thrillers of the ’70s and ’80s. They’ve set up their first: Nothing to Fear, a horror/thriller that follows a young family as it tries to reinvent itself by moving to a small town in rural Kansas. The family is tormented by an ancient demon with an insatiable blood lust. The script was written by Jonathan W.C. Mills, who’s currently working on the Gold Circle pic Inside Passage.

Red State – First Look!

Horror Movie - Red State (Kevin Smith)

The king of independent movies Kevin Smith, famously known for Clerks, Clerks 2 and his most recent movie Cop Out has started filming his first horror movie. “Red State” is Kevin’s first attempt at writing and directing a horror movie, but I for one am a HUGE Kevin Smith fan and I have every confidence in his ability at writing and directing a great and hopefully scary horror flick.
