Freddy Krueger – New NECA Figures

Since the beginning of horror movies such as Friday the 13th, Halloween and Nightmare On Elm Street we have had models, figures and film memorabilia to get our hands on and the new Nightmare On Elm Street Remake is no different. There have been many rumours and concepts across the net for months now about what these new figures will look like, well now we have some pictures! I personally have most of the original Nightmare On Elm Street figures (Still hunting for a few!) and these new ones will be added to my collection ASAP.

There seems to be a few different Freddy’s, one depicting him before his burns and one in his full “Freddy Krueger” glory. The movie has yet to be released but we all know enough from the trailers that have been released to know that NECA have got the figures down to the smallest details in terms of there looks.

Bill Murray – Confirms Ghostbusters 3

Bill Murray has self-confirmed his involvement in the highly anticipated Ghostbusters 3 movie which has been in the rumour mill for well over 10 years now. there were strong rumours that surfaced when the Ghostbusters: The Video Game was being released which was then confirmed by other cast members. Bill Murray has said that the only way he will be involved in the movie is if his character is killed and he comes back as a ghost, so I am guessing we will see some classic cheesy-jokes from his new ghostly character.

Ghostbusters 3 is to be directed by Ivan Reitman and all the original cast are rumoured to be involved at some point or another. Ghostbusters 3 will follow the work of a new Team of Ghostbusters rumoured to be made up of Seth Rogen and Judd Apatow. Although Rogen has previously stated that he has yet to be contacted by anyone involved in the production of Ghostbusters 3:

“It’s hard to imagine that would be good, isn’t it?” asks Rogen. “I mean just as a movie fan I am the first guy to be skeptical of that. It sounds like a terrible idea when you first hear it. At first hearing it sounds like the worst idea ever. I dunno. Maybe. I mean, that would have to be one mutherfucking good script.” – Seth Rogen

So it looks like a none started with Seth Rogen, unless the script is “mutherfucking good”.

Paranormal Activity 2

I think we all saw the major success of Paramount highest profiting movie of all time, Paranormal Activity. Well, Paramount have set the ball movie for a sequel, the original Director, Oren Peli, will be behind the camera but he will not direct, he will in fact be a Producer of the movie. The man that will drive Paranormal Activity 2 is none other than gore-getting Kevin Greutert…

The sequel is due to be released 22nd Oct 2010, with it competing with the next instalment of the Saw movies, all in time for the Halloween.

Nightmare On Elm Street Remake

Nightmare On Elm Street is back again, but this time its a full remake, the film is due for release at the end of April in the USA. Freddy will be back again to terrorise the teenagers of Elm Street while they sleep. The newest Nightmare On Elm Street Remake Trailer has been released and looks very horrific, horror fans all around the world are anticipating a great come back of the newly voted Ultimate Horror Villain, Freddy Krueger.
