When Saw was first released in 2004 no one thought there would be 6 movies after it and a huge following of gore fans seeking Jigsaws insane traps. Well, now in 2010 we are just off the back off Saw VI which was arguably the weakest of the movies, there are many theories as to why but the general thoughts are most people went to see Paranormal Activity and preferred the Low-budget Indie movie, which grossed $150 million from its $15,000 budget. Patrick Melton screen writer (Saw IV to Saw VII) has stated that he doubts there will be an eighth chapter of Saw.
