Bill Murray has self-confirmed his involvement in the highly anticipated Ghostbusters 3 movie which has been in the rumour mill for well over 10 years now. there were strong rumours that surfaced when the Ghostbusters: The Video Game was being released which was then confirmed by other cast members. Bill Murray has said that the only way he will be involved in the movie is if his character is killed and he comes back as a ghost, so I am guessing we will see some classic cheesy-jokes from his new ghostly character.

Ghostbusters 3 is to be directed by Ivan Reitman and all the original cast are rumoured to be involved at some point or another. Ghostbusters 3 will follow the work of a new Team of Ghostbusters rumoured to be made up of Seth Rogen and Judd Apatow. Although Rogen has previously stated that he has yet to be contacted by anyone involved in the production of Ghostbusters 3:

“It’s hard to imagine that would be good, isn’t it?” asks Rogen. “I mean just as a movie fan I am the first guy to be skeptical of that. It sounds like a terrible idea when you first hear it. At first hearing it sounds like the worst idea ever. I dunno. Maybe. I mean, that would have to be one mutherfucking good script.” – Seth Rogen

So it looks like a none started with Seth Rogen, unless the script is “mutherfucking good”.
