We here at HW are the biggest fans of Horror Movies and we will be bring you the best in horror movie reviews within the next couple of weeks. We do in fact already have a lot of Horror trailer splattered around the site... Everything from the Scream 4 Trailer, the Don’t Be Afraid of the Dark Trailer and also the upcoming Apollo 18 Trailer.
As for horror reviews, we will start with the newest - Scream 4 - then move our way back a possibly touching some of the 80's and 90's... But horrors I am looking forward to seeing this year have to be Paranormal Activity 3, Don’t Be Afraid of the Dark and possibly even Final Destination 5!

Neds (Non Educated Delinquents) is a thriller/horror movie based on some Glasgow teenagers who have a reputation of violent, abusive and all round terrible behaviour. Its a well known fact that most teenagers from Glasgow behave like normal, but the small minority of Neds are what this movie is based on.

I first saw the trailer for Apollo 18 months ago and at that point I was so excited I nearly cried, well maybe not but I was excited to see something a little different from the same type of alien movie we get every year or two. Apollo 18 had a very suspense type feel to it, very much like the Paranormal Activity movies as of late. Does it live up to all the hype, rumours and general talk? Well… No, but I liked it ALOT!

It seems that the yearly Halloween movie has changed from Saw to Paranormal Activity as we now have the third installment due out this October just in time for Halloween and it doesn’t look like it will be stopping at Paranormal Activity 3.With rumours flying around the Internet about where the third movie will be taking us, weather it be a catch up with Katy and her demon set after the first movie or will it be something else… And now that the Paranormal Activity 3 trailer has been released we know!
If you enjoy having cosy nights in, where you lie on the sofa watching DVDs, while playing party poker and nibbling at popcorn, the Paranormal trilogy is sure to make you jump out of your skin. However, just like the Saw films, Paranormal Activity seems to be getting too predictable now. Without even seeing the film, you can guess that there will be an evil poltergeist, who is out to get an innocent person. It’s been done twice before, so we can only assume the third film will be based upon a similar, repetitive plot.

Monsters director Gareth Edwards is (was) some what of an unknown force when Vertigo Films first hired him as director. Edwards previously directed, wrote and edited a short film, Factory Farmed, which is what originally caught the attention of VF. Monsters is a horror movie with a show-string budget and as has been proven in the past low budget horror movies can do better than than $100 million blockbusters as long as the concept is good enough, and Monsters is exactly that.
